ESL For Church Programs
Teaching English as a second language is a great opportunity for churches to reach out to immigrants in their community. Through teaching English, churches can create a commu-nity for immigrants where they feel safe and welcomed.
By extending friendship and building relationships, church programs and individuals can show the love of God and meet needs that immigrants have. This creates opportunities to share the hope of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Tutoring
Tutoring is a great opportunity to help individuals and families who might not be able to get to a class. This gives opportunities for deeper relationships. The New in America Work-books are a great resource to use for tutoring students.
