The Greatest Story-A Journey Through the Bible

Written in easy English, these books seek to explain the story of the Bible from beginning to end. They can be used as a Bible Study suitable for teaching English as a Second Language.

The Bible is one story from beginning to end. God progressively reveals himself through the narrative. He is the Sovereign One who writes history.

The people fall into sin and are helpless to make their own way back to God. In his great love and mercy, God makes a way. This is the story of redemption. The redemptive story is progressively revealed in the Bi-ble, starting with the promise of a Savior. As the story unfolds, we learn more about this Savior. We come to understand that the penalty of sin could only be paid for through death. The substitutionary death of the lamb points forward to the Perfect Lamb of God. So then, when the Savior is revealed in the narrative, his character and his purpose is understood in light of the complete story.
